Back to School Bonanza is held on the first Thursday of August and benefits the families of NW Arkansas who need help with back to school services and items for their children. Any student in grades K-12 is welcome to attend without respect to their address, school district, or income level.
Registration is required this year because of Covid-19.
Services offered this year are Kindergarten health physicals and immunizations for entering school in K and 7th grade through AR Care of NWA.
Items offered are: tennis shoes and a pizza to go
The congregation also prays with the families.
This ministry event began in 2005, and is funded/staffed through the Farmington United Methodist Church, other local churches, our local community, school volunteers, individual donations, and grants from businesses. Our average attendance is 530 students.
