Spreading God's Love

Little Free Pantry

Take What You Need

Our Little Free Pantry is located on the East side of our building and is available to anyone in need 24/7.  Our prayer is that no person in our community goes hungry.

Church Food Pantry

Food Pantry

The expanded Food Pantry is available to those in need from 12 P.M. - 2 P.M. on the 3rd Saturday of every month.

Homeless Feed

Feeding Those In Need

On the 4th Saturday of every month, Farmington UMC participates in a mission with the Genesis Church to provide a community meal to those who are less fortunate.

We welcome all who come our way believing that it is God who has sent them to us

Our Wesleyan heritage teaches us that God is actively working in the life of every person – drawing them to Jesus Christ for the purpose of redeeming and restoring their lives. We consider every person who comes to us a gift from God and an opportunity to encounter God through welcoming them and showing hospitality.

The event is located at Genesis Church in Fayetteville at 205 MLK Blvd in Fayetteville.

Back 2 School Bonanza

Preparing Kids for School

Back to School Bonanza is held on the first Thursday of August and benefits the families of NW Arkansas who need help with back to school services and items for their children. Any student in grades K-12 is welcome to attend without respect to their address, school district, or income level. No pre-registration is required; the event is first come, first served.

Services offered are: Kindergarten health physicals, vision and dental screenings, and haircuts.

Items offered are: tennis shoes, socks, underwear, and backpacks with school supplies. Health and beauty goody bags are available, along with a pizza to go.

The congregation also lifts up each student by washing their feet, praying with them, and offering communion to the families.

This ministry event began in 2005, and is funded/staffed through the Farmington United Methodist Church, other local churches, our local community, school volunteers, individual donations, and grants from businesses. Our average attendance is 530 students.

Student Help Fund

Helping Kids in Need

Every Sunday, during the passing of the baskets to receive tithes and offerings, spare change can be placed in the pink "noisy buckets" found inside the offering baskets.  These funds are collected and then presented to the school nurses at our local schools to help children in need within the Farmington School District.  Donations help children who may not have school supplies, shoes, winter coats, or other clothing, and even those who are struggling with hunger or housing.

If you would like to help by donating, you can place money in the noisy buckets during the offering, or you can mail a check to the church and specify that it is for the Student Help Fund.  Your help makes a difference for children and teens in our community.
